I first came across goetzpartners through former colleagues who were working alongside the goetzpartners team on the client side. I was impressed by their entrepreneurial culture, value proposition and their large-scale operational assignments across the globe. Just about then, an opportunity arose as goetzpartners decided to expand into the Middle East through the launch of their office in Dubai – and voila, here I am.
MY MOST CHALLENGING PROJECT
I’d say it was developing a strategy for a major Middle Eastern government body to transform their organization and operations. Managing the stakeholders and their expectations was challenging, especially because of their high profile: the stakeholders included the heads of the ministries, the government bodies and the top national private companies. But this also made it my most interesting project so far.
Being part of the new office in Dubai, I’m actively involved in business development activities in the Middle East and Africa – like raising awareness across the region of our presence and value proposition. goetzpartners also offers a variety of activities that bring together people from different offices around the world – I’ve participated in trainings, off-site events, cross-office product development and internal competitions with staff from all over the globe. This has helped me expand my internal network.
MY PERSONAL BACKGROUND
I graduated from BITS Pilani, India, with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and then pursued a master’s degree in Management at HEC Paris, France. All through my education, I’ve been strongly inclined towards entrepreneurship. I had short stints with many different digital and Internet startups – ideating, prototyping and launching consumer products into new markets across the US, North Africa and India. I also founded an entrepreneurship club while at University, bringing people together to ideate and build ventures. Additionally, I love travelling, and have travelled to over 30 countries in the last 6 years – for both work and leisure. I find all these experiences blend very well into a consultant role at goetzpartners.
